Privacy policy

Visit button clicks

When you click a Visit button, we add one to a daily count for that listing, noting only whether the link was a paid link. We don't record your IP address, browser, location or anything else that could identify you, and we can't tell one visitor's clicks from another's.

Site analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see overall traffic, such as how many people viewed a page and which countries and devices visits come from. It doesn't use cookies and reports only aggregate totals, not individual visitors.

Hosting logs

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel's servers keep short-lived technical logs of requests, which can include your IP address, browser type and the page requested. They are used to run and secure the site and are deleted automatically after a short period. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Cookies and saved settings

The public site sets no cookies. Staff who sign in to edit the directory get a sign-in cookie, used only for that.

If you use the roadmap in the guide, your progress is saved in your own browser so it's there when you come back. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Sites we link to

Listings link to other websites. Once you leave 52 Deep, that site's own privacy policy applies, and it may set its own cookies. Some of our links are paid links (see our affiliate disclosure): the partner, such as Amazon, may use a cookie or the link itself to know that you came from us, so they can credit us if you buy something. We don't receive any personal details about you from them, only totals of sales and commissions.

If you email us

If you write to hello@52deep.com, we use your email address and message only to reply and to act on what you sent, such as a suggested listing or a correction. We keep the email as long as it's useful for that and never add you to a mailing list.

Selling and sharing

We don't sell or share personal information, as those terms are used in California privacy law, and we don't use it for targeted advertising. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; the site is about poker and isn't meant for children.

Your choices

You can browse with cookies blocked and nothing on the public site will break. If you're a California resident, or anywhere else, you can ask what personal information we have about you (in practice, only any emails you've sent us) and ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@52deep.com and we'll reply within 45 days. We won't treat you any differently for asking.

Changes

If what we collect changes, we'll update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
